Sharon Grambo is an Actor, a Marriage and Family Therapist, and Standardized Patient Trainer. She began her acting career over 25 years ago graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She most recently appeared in “Death of a Salesman” at the Odyssey Theatre and “Buon Natale” at the NoHo Arts Center. For the past 18 years she has worked for the Standardized Patient Program at the David Geffen/UCLA School of Medicine as an actor and trainer. The very sophisticated Standardized Patient Program at UCLA, uses role-playing to improve the medical students’ communication, empathic and multicultural skills. She is the Senior Standardized Patient Trainer in the program. Outside of UCLA, Ms. Grambo works with physicians in the Healthcare Partners Medical Group facilitating their skills in the doctor patient relationship.
