Diversity Training for Lawyers has a team of facilitators who have worked together doing diversity training work in a variety of public and private settings. We are multi-racial and multi-gender. We are passionate about the work we do. Here are some of the players. We will pick a team that is geared to your personnel.
Why We Do It
We do diversity education for lawyers because we believe we can help prevent lawsuits that will be expensive financially and affect many employees in negative ways that include inferior work product, poor morale, turnover, and absenteeism. Our dynamic and interactive program works with participants and makes lively and engaging presentations that illustrate to not only learn what the law is but how it is often violated without intention. This learning will occur because we enact real life relevant presentations about the day-to-day interactions that probably occur in your firm. Our scenarios and role playing vignettes will help engage participants in a lively discussion whereby dimensions of these day to day occurrences are often ignored or overlooked by a participant. These subtleties will be made apparent in our presentations so that your firm will greatly reduce the risk of a lawsuit.
Diversity doesn’t just happen. Even though people of different races, ethnicities and gender work side-by-side, bias reduction and inclusion does not occur automatically. DT4L goes beyond the demographic diversity that many organizations already have. At Diversity Training for Lawyers we teach what it takes to increase deep respect and appreciation for difference.
